{Tips} DIY Jewellery display

{DIY} Jewellery display

Vyzeralo to skrátka nádherne a princeznovsky. Postupom času som však podnosy dala stranou a venovala sa iným veciach až som, napokon, uvidela niekoľko izbových dekorácií, v ktorých práve tieto vecičky zohrávali hlavnú úlohu. Napadlo mi teda, žeby som si aj ja mohla takúto peknú dekoráciu do izby urobiť a vystaviť si na nej svoje obľúbené šperky spolu s rôznymi kamienkami, ktoré som našla v prírode a sušenými lupeňmi ruží.

Hello everyone ♥ In today´s article I would like to show you my DIY tutorial how to made a jewellery display. Since I was a little child I have been fascinated by those things, what are supposed to hold meals and cakes - salvers. It looked so pretty and "princessy". As the time had been flowing I had had another things which had cought my attention but one day, I found an inspiration article with room decoration. There were similar displays like mine so I made my mind and wanted to make my own as well. My jewellery display is full of my most precious jewellery pieces, withered rose petals and also little stones which I found at my great-grandma´s.

{DIY} Jewellery display

As you can see, I bought two different plates - a small one and a bigger one. I have them both from a Kik and they were really cheap! The small one costed 0,79€ and the bigger one something up to 1,50€. Amazing, isn´t it? They look so luxurious and pretty.

I also needed a thing, thanks to which I could put them together. I decided to buy this cute little pink mushroom - toadstool. I had been going around it for almost half a year and I hadn´t bought it, haha.

{DIY} Jewellery display

Tu som musela tanier pridržať niekoľko minút, pretože lepidlo schlo naozaj pomaly a tanier sa nakláňal kvôli úzkej ploche hlavy muchotrávky. Keď napokon všetko vyschlo, nechala som stojan ešte cez noc postáť s nejakými vecami na prvom poschodí, aby som ho trošku zaťažila a eliminovala odlepenie.

Firstly, I grinded the upper part of the toadstool because it was a little bit round. When I was done doing this, I put some glue on the lower part of it and stick it to the bigger plate. After that I put a bit of glue on the upper part, which I grinded before, and stick the smaller plate there. I needed to hold it a few minutes because the surface of the pink toadstool was small and the place was fluctuate from the one side to another. When the glue already drought, I put some things on the upper plate and left them there for a few hours because I wanted the glue to stick there really tightly.

And voilá ~ We have it ♥ What do you say? Do you like this decoration? Do you like to make DIY things? :)

Mám čím dál tím méně času a hlavně chutě něco vyrobit sama. :)

This is cool! Now you gave life to your unused plates :D I also did this at home... I created similar jewellery stand its so cute, but I forgot to ask my Mom if she's still going to use the plates (coz it's just sitting there). Too late I've already used it, hahaha
